I'm a big fan of Terrance's Pizza Press mug. :-) Founded by Erik Spiekerman, this is a great source for fonts, including those developed by FontShop (FontFonts) and independent foundries. Type gods. Emigre is THE original underground digital type foundry. Not only did Rudy and Zuzana produce great fonts but they also published the most influential and controversial design magazine of our time. Purchase the book Emigre No. 70 The Look Back Issue which chronicles 25 years of the magazine.

Tobias Frere-Jones is an American type designer who works in New York City. He was formerly a partner with designer Jonathan Hoefler at Hoefler & Frere-Jones, type foundry. The Hoefler Type Foundry House Industries specializes in digital typefaces and illustrations that draw on pop culture. I am coo coo for these boys. Puts out many smaller type foundries work.
